All club members should register on the site!
You should do this because:
- the Forums are the major communication tool in the club.
This is especially important now we have moved to the new three hour training sessions. The three hours will (often - not always) be divided as: first hour concentrating on one team (A, B or Ladies); second hour mixed (for everyone); third hour concentrating on another team (A, B or Ladies). No-one is ever banned from attending - all teams need cannon fodder to hit at, to block them, to serve at... and we all need practice at those elements of our game - but the focus of some part of the session might not be your personal first priority. The training session program is published via the forums. It can change at fairly short notice but realistically it's not likely to change on Saturday for the following day.
- only registered users who are club members can post messages in the Forums
We want to have plenty of dialog and we want it to be well targeted. We can have as many forums as you like, we already have a separation of A team, B team, Ladies team and General. Anyone can read, but you have to be registered to post.
- most significant - only registered users can have the forums send them an email when there is a new message. To do this you must login first. Then you go to the forum (or forums) of your choice and for each one check the box for "Email me when General forum has a new thread.". You will find it in the bottom right hand corner of the page.
Clearly if you want to stay up to date with what the Famous Bassett Bees(tm) are doing then you need to tick that check box in the B team forum!
- you might like to contact a fellow member.
The club contact list is only available to registered club members.
So feel free to register - do it now! It's fast and free! The registration link is in the top right hand corner of the page. www.WoottonBassettVBC.co.uk
