At the AGM we agreed to celebrate the club 25th anniversary with an "international" picnic... Everyone is welcome - members past and present, and their families.
Date: Saturday 27 June, 12 noon onwards
Venue: Lydiard Millicent Primary School, The Butts, Lydiard Millicent, SN5 3LR (The Butts is a single track lane opposite All Saints Church off the main street through the village)
The idea is "bring-and-share"... everyone brings a little food, preferably something typical of their home country or region... so we can all share and taste some international flavours. We will have access to the school kitchen if you need to re-heat or finish off food that you have prepared / cooked at home (but it's mainly a picnic / cold buffet, so we won't be cooking food at the school). Please also bring something to drink.
Other activities will include: chatting and lazing in the sun (on the school field - bring your camping chair); volleyball; maybe some other games for families (eg rounders?).
The weather will be brilliant... but if it's not we can still keep warm and dry in the school hall.
