Our Sunday session lasts for three hours with the intention that we can spend some time being more tightly focused. So, for example, A team 7-9 means that the major focus, for that part of the evening, will be on the A team. That does not mean others are unwelcome; it just means their specific needs/desires will not be priority one. So you might be expected to serve, serve, serve so that another group can practice receiving, or hit, hit, hit so they can practice blocking. You might just get balls hit at you. Anything in fact...
If the space beyond the curtain is available then we can go up there and practice drills that do not require a net.
The plan (below) is always a work-in-progress. It's more fluid at the start of the season because dates that affect us are often not announced as soon as we would like. The general principle is that there will always be somthing happening at the Lime Kiln on a Sunday. If there is a single home match scheduled (we try to avoid these) then training will be shortened. If there are two matches then there will be no training. Supporters and helpers are always welcome at matches. It's the home club's responsibility to officiate a match. Each match needs a referee, second referee, scorer, scorer's assistant and two line judges.
A blank in the training column for a Sunday does not mean nothing is happening - it means it's not yet decided.
