After the very successful Challenge Swindon 2007 - Wootton Bassett Volleyball Club is pleased to announce that it will again organize the Beach Volleyball for Challenge Swindon 2008.

Challenge Swindon was officially launched on 5th March 2008 by GB Beach Volleyball star Lucy Boulton.  Wootton Bassett coach, Phil Heads, and Wootton Bassett and National Volleyball League Player, Cinzia Craighero, attended and fed balls to help Lucy demonstrate the skills and style of a top beach volleyball player.  Club Coach Phil Heads said "It was amazing to be on the other side of the net from a top player.  The top players can really hammer the ball."
