Your availability

Guys,

I don't know whether I can live through another week like this! I spent too many hours on email, phone and text trying to find out who was available for Thursday's match and finding B-team players who were available to make up the team. Then we had the worry about whether 6 players were enough if someone else dropped out.

Because we only have 7 A-team players in the squad, this problem is likely to recur. So it would help me enormously to plan ahead and invite the right B team players if you would:

1. Confirm now your availability for all league match dates this season (yes/no/unsure).

2. Tell me immediately if your plans change later for any reason (eg work, injury, etc).

Please also note the DK Cup draw:

Round 1 away vs Calne Asteroids by 20 Dec (I've asked them to suggest dates, maybe 22 Nov)

QF home vs Salisbury Warlocks by 28 Feb

SF away vs Devizes or Olympiad or Melksham by 28 Mar.

Hi Phil,

Well done for ensuring that there was a team for last weeks match v Devizes, I know how difficult and frustrating this can be at times. Regarding all league matches; I should be available, but as I said I often have to go somewhere at last minutes notice. Though you know I will try and avoid this wherever possible. The only date I may have trouble with making is November 22nd (DK Cup match v Calne), which is Nikolai's 3rd birthday, so if another date can be chosen then this will be better for me. I have noted all of our fixtures and will make sure thay are on my work's calendar as usual.

Your efforts are appreciated, though it may not feel like it at times.
